Women live longer than men because their natural ability of instinct protecting them from harm and injury is more developed. Women’ life expectancy at birth differs greatly throughout the world, in European countries it makes up 75-80 years in comparison to developing countries -60-70 years and 54 years in Africa. Men are vulnerable to stress, drug addiction and alcohol abuse. Women live 5 to 8 years longer than men in the world regardless from race or country. Girls are more vulnerable than boys to suffer from sexual abuse. Breast cancer is one of the most frequent causes of women’s deaths aged 20–59 years in developed countries. Cardiovascular disease is mistakenly thought to be the main male problem. It is one of the leading causes of death in women. Practically all (99%) of the half a million maternal deaths according to the statistics occur in developing countries.
