What Tests Should I Undergo to Evaluate Sexual Problems?

Several tests can be used to estimate the afflictions and extent of male sexual problems. They are:
Blood tests:
These tests are done to estimate hormone levels. It is known that with age testosterone level declines, so you should undergo this test and your doctor will evaluate if you testosterone level is normal or lower than recommended level at your age.
Some blood tests are done to evaluate the level of sugar. If blood sugar level is high, you may be suffering from diabetes which can cause your sexual disorder.
Vascular assessment:
This test evaluates the blood flow to the penis. A blockage in a blood vessel supplying blood to the penis may be contributing to sexual dysfunction.
Sensory testing:
Particularly useful in evaluating the effects of diabetic neuropathy or nerve damage. Nerve damage can cause a lack of special sexual signals from your brain to the penis. Sensory testing measures the strength of nerve impulses.
Nocturnal penile tumescence and rigidity testing:
This test monitors erections that occur naturally during sleep and is made in clinic or hospital. It helps to determine if a man’s erectile problems are due to physical or psychological causes.
