In special studies involving men who drank large amounts of alcohol while being on Cialis the following most common symptoms were reported:
- Dizziness;
- A rapid heart rate (tachycardia);
- Headaches;
- Stomach upset;
- Low blood pressure.
The manufacturer advises not to use alcohol in large amounts while taking Cialis. Talk with your doctor about alcohol consumption in combination with Cialis. Your doctor understands your situation best because he knows your health conditions and your response to the therapy. Based on your current health situation your doctor will recommended the max safe dose of alcohol while on Cialis. If there are other medical reasons (certain diseases) for you not to drink alcohol, tell your doctor about them.
Alcohol and Cialis can have similar effects on blood vessels, causing them open wider. Besides alcohol may increase the risk of appearing side effects of Cialis.
